Without the darkness that surrounds them the stars could not shine. I give praise and thanks to the darkness for all the experiences in my life. The pain, abuse, suffering, loneliness, desperation, depression, frustration and longing hold as much worth as their reflected emotions. I would live through it all again because without that evil I would never know good. Without that suffering I would not know peace. Without being treated as un-human I would never come to appreciate and love what is truly means to be human.

I do not pretend to be a poet or in anyway an author of merit, talent or worth. I write for one reason only, sharing is the only true way to heal. The only true way to remind other broken souls that they are not alone. To show them that all that pain is not unique to them, others drink from the same poisioned well. I have found solice in the bravery of other souls willing to reveal their pain and now I am doing my part in that sharing proccess, so that we might say I am human and emotions are what makes us human. How you respond and deal with those emotions is what determins what kind of human you are.
