Sara Henry Heistand

It's been a while since I've written (over half a year?) and it's time for me to start up again. My life's back on the right track and now I have the time and the emotional capacity. So on with it.

I'm a twenty-year old woman living in Madison, WI, with two gerbils - Koko and Pelli. I'm a student of Early Child Education with a past in pseudo-professional (and unprofessional) radio. I'm self-published (which is good enough for me) and an entrepreneur (kind of). I do a lot of things for five-dollars.

I usually write my poetry in a span of five to ten minutes, just letting it be as pure as can be. Sometimes it's s**t, sometime it comes out the only way it can. I dig my process. As for short stories, I'm more meticulous, though I always keep them short. I like the idea of the "glimpse" of someone's life. Hopefully, one day I'll cut the procrastination crap and write a novel.
