About Me
Growing up in West Texas, James Johnson had a variety of interests. Writing wasnt one of them. For that matter, the only reading I enjoyed was comic books.
I caught the writing bug when my brother, poet Caesar Dubois, became published. My passion for writing grew from a desire to work with my brother on a writing project. When Caesar couldnt commit to long term collaboration, I continued to write with Caesars blessing.
My writing credits include Soldier and the Lady, and two free lance articles: A Whole New Game-New Names and Faces for the Abilene Reporter News, and Market Research Tips and Publishing for the Abilene Writers Guild newsletter. I'm a member of the AWG and serve as an Executive Board member. I currently resides in Abilene, Texas with my wife Wilma and daughter Mellisa.
