About Me
I'm like the meg Ryan character in "you've got mail" and if you know me and know that movie, you might agree. im always wanting to be known or acknowledged and..I find myself never living up to my very own expectations. I write. that's my hobby. I aspire to one day be the next Tina fey or Emily Giffin and actually writing a novel that relates to many females. tina fey is actually one person i recently began admiring for her ability to become who she is today in a working area and place where many men take ownership and take the stage. also because of her writing abilities and acting abilities as well. i hope to be in her shoes one day. Emily Giffin, for her ability to really make you feel like you are the character or the characters' best friend because you become so in depth within the book. Mindy Kaling is another person who has gotten me to look in new ways i never used to. she breaks her barriers and isn't afraid to be herself. honestly watching her and reading her stories' makes me feel more confident. being overweight can be a downer and you always feel so pressured to look a certain way or "he" wont like me. ya know? and Mindy takes that analogy and says "F U! so what! i'm a little heavy set! but how does that define me?" and taking that confidence and energy and putting it into writing, acting, and exercising. lastly, the character many people know...women and gay men...Carrie Bradshaw. she has that lifestyle that every teenage girl, 20-45 year old dreams of. but it's not just the glamour in her life I strive to reach but her love life with BIG and her style and her personality and most of all...her thoughts and writings(or in her way...typing). if I could mix each one of them and incorporate them into myself. I have no fear for my future and my life. most people who know me, know that I was born and raised in the country. but I'm as much of a city girl as my grandmother and mother are. yes, they are island girls yes but my mom technically was born in Hollywood. so yeah! I'm not saying I don't appreciate the country and the southern hospitality and peaceful serenity out here that most New Yorkers would beg for. but like they say, New Yorkers want some peace and quiet sometimes and wouldn't mind it, and us southern people would like a little bit of lights and noise and big cities. so u know so far that I write. I sing. I try to dance. I try to be as healthy as I can be. I have goals and motives and a future I drive myself to reach everyday. as for the simple practical crap like music? lets just say, if u can tolerate show tunes, broadway, or Michael buble? ur good! movies & tv? look in my "about" for all that under likes. well, if you would love to know more about me, message me.
