Gautam Sen

I am a senior English teacher in an Anglo-indian higher secondary school in the Himalayan town of Kalimpong. I am also a writer. I have written a non-fiction best-seller on the philosophy of an Indian saint named Swami Vivekananda; a 5,000-word story of mine features in 'Prizewinning Asian Fiction' (Hong Kong University Press); and I have just co-authored (along with one other writer) two volumes of essays for Macmillan India. My poems and stories have appeared in a few publications, and recently a children's fantasy novel of mine,'The Fantabulous Fens', was published electronically by ireadiwrite Publishing (Canada).
