Ren Rankins

There's not much to say about me. I don't usually express myself verbally as much as I do visually, although I'm far more intellectual when I write. I've always been artistic, though my work has never been appreciated until now, but even that that is being appreciated is limited, seeing as it's all within the guidelines of those the art is for. My actual art, the work I do for myself alone, is more abstract. My personal belief is that 'art is the soul interpreted into something words could never even hope to express'. I would copyright that if I could, seeing as I wrote it. My art expresses my soul, and my words express my thoughts. I'm not very good and saying how and what I feel and think, my mouth doesn't keep up with my brain very well.. though I tend to talk too much about nothing in particular. Writing is the only way I've ever been able to convey my thoughts in a solid stream without random distractions and sidebar ramblings, and art is the only way I've ever been able to express myself exactly the way I want to. I just hate that everyone's always so suprised to find out I'm not an airhead.
