1. We're not allowed to pray in school. The only religious right we have is missing school on Christmas during winter break. It sucks and it's unfair. Leaving school for religious purposes is allowed, but majorly frowned upon.

2. I'm struggling a lot with things in the biblical department. Not like faith, I have strong faith, but I'm confused. So, once again, please share any thoughts you have. I will never be offended.

Hey, I would comment on my blog but I don't want the page being too long, so I'll comment here.

NEVER think your opinions will offend me! I am ALWAYS open to discussion and I want to see everyone's point of view, so thank you for sharing! I totally understand your points, and I somewhat agree with them.

First off, cursing. I'm 16 years old. I tend to let words fly, and this is one of my major struggles. I agree with your comment on repentance, but some Christians basically tell me if I let a word slip, God will never forgive me. God will ALWAYS forgive me (as long as I ask for forgiveness, of course). So I do agree with your comment about cursing.

Abortion. I just don't think the government should be in it. Not every woman is a Christian, and if a Christian woman gets an abortion, that's her decision. I'll never do that because I believe it's murder, but I'm still pro-choice. I hardly understand my own views on it, so it's okay if you don't. :)

Gay marriage/Bible influencing the government. First of all, I know the Bible influences the government, but the government pretends like religion doesn't influence it, and that's my point. They say gay marriage is because of the Bible, but then we can't pray in school. The government is contradicting itself.
Gay marriage: we'll probably just never agree on it. Personally, I think God loves us enough that he's not going to send us to hell for it. I'm straight but if someone's gay, they should do what they want.

Again, I'm always up for discussion so if you have something you want to say, I'm happy to hear it. Thank you for sharing!

So I'm leaving to go to Texas tonight, which means airport.
And airports mean hours of having the song "Give me your Eyes" by Brandon Heath stuck in my head.
