About Me

Dr Sheryl Torr-Brown is a native of the United Kingdom and now resides in Mystic, Connecticut. Sheryl came to the States in 1989 to complete a post doctoral fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, after finishing her PhD in Medicine at the University of London. Sheryl has spent 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently holding the position of Senior Director and Head of Science and Technology for Pfizer Safety Division. She is now working on a book about Integral Health. The central thesis is that over-reductionism in science and medicine has removed the patient from their central role in healthcare, and it is time for a more holistic view of health to be adopted at an individual and a global level. Sheryl is a member of the Integral Intitute and studies the philosopy of Ken Wilber. She also writes poetry and enjoys traveling, reading, canoeing and photography.

Hi Sheryl, I figured it was time to take some time to thank and re-thank people who took the time to read and comment upon my work. I might have thanked you before, but you can never have too many thank-yous.

It was so long ago that you looked at and reviewed "Cherry Icees" that I'm ashamed of my slow thank you. But REALLY ... thank you soooo much.

ah dont say that. you can always go back home. i might go chase the american scream like everyone else does. or go to turkey. but london is the same. camden will remain the same. especially the korean food. londons all about depth and time. you can find anything in london as long as you go back in history far enough. theres the tubes and the high speed tubes underneath that never opened. theres seven sisters at seven sisters and an angel at islington. america is about the distance. go far enough and its there. which is why its a scream
