About Me

Born and raised in various small towns across Massachusetts, Josh Burke never really picked up a love for reading, and in fact faked reading just about every book throughout high school, going so far as to make up cited passages for a book report, and it wasn't until he stumbled upon the work of literary genius Neil Gaiman that he got an affection for it. In years before, he had written much fiction, so picking up a pen and scribing strange and funny things came naturally. Sort of.

Now 18, he currently has about 11 unfinished short stories between his laptop and his hardcover notebook, but one day he'll get around to finishing them all. Well, that is, as long as he doesn't get an idea for another one along the way.

You just might check this, so here's a comment!
How's things going? Novel going well?
It's May, which means that my final manuscript needs to be ready for submission soon for the conference.... scary stuff. I've been doing a s**t load of rewriting, when I can. I've been busy with everything, recently. Yes everything. I got a root canal two days ago and I'm still ailing a bit. Plus I'm now in a play, so it's been sucking up my free time. Thus my lack absence on instant messenger.
I did finish "Watchmen" and I was blown away! Freaking fantastic. Umm...yeah that's about all I got for now. tell me what's going on with you

Just popping in to see how you're doing. I haven't been on much, really. I'm in a stupid state of writers block and I'm definitely dreading rewriting what I need to. Balls. Anyway, how's the writing on your end going? When do you find out about the story you submitted to NY? What did you think of my story? Why do I keep asking questions?
