Sonia Rosa

My name is Sonia Rosa and I am a new writer trying to break into the writing world. I am currently completing my memoir, that is due for release in January 2016. Titled: Where's the Dessert? It details my journey of recovery from depression and anxiety; to then take a trip of a lifetime to Italy cooking and eating. I will be posting some excerpts/chapters for review.

I still work part time as a social worker. I have been working 16 years in the area of child abuse, domestic violence, mental health and drug use.

Writing is my hobby but I am aiming to make it a full time career!

I am also researching for my second book. Title not yet known but it is inspired by the recent executions of two Australians in Indonesia. It will explore the use of and political nature of the death penalty, community attitudes and overall human strength in the face of adversity. (so much more but I have not yet sat down and figured it out yet)!
