A.M.

Hello and welcome to my writing. I have a bachelors in Philosophy and as of now i am unemployed and sitting on a stack of stories I have never shared to the public outside of friends, family, and teachers. I write mostly short stories and every so often free form poetry. I tend to focus my direction at fiction although I have recently been attempting my hand at science fiction and my stories often explore and expand on topics such as Marxism, Existentialism, Philosophy of Mind, loss, love, death, beauty, environmentalism, etc. These stories are often based in realism but take a surrealist turn and with a degree of open-endedness. And so, much of my work should not read with the idea that everything will be answered.

My hope is that i will allow my readers to think much like a philosopher, create their own path of thought, and take what they want to take from my work. This is not to say that I am incredibly accomplished in my work in the least. Of the known issues I know I have is story flow, laziness on returning to a work and re-reading and editing, as well as some small grammatical mistakes likely laced in my work here and there. That is my other function of doing this, I hope that I can get the invaluable tips that you, the reader, can give me in order to become a better story teller.
