I would like to say that I graduated from the school of hard knocks but unfortunately, it is not true. I come from a happy family with supportive parents, so if you are looking for a manically depressed pessimistic cynic, it won't be me. I may at times be more sardonic and sarcastic than I should, but I am an essentially happy person (it's hard to be always melodramatically depressed really). If that's a contradiction in terms, who cares. It's my prerogative to be contradictory if I want to.

I confess that I enjoy reading, writing, banter and sharp wits. Sarcasm and ironies are my usual choice of dinner entertainment, preferably served up with an extra helping of rusty iron nails, also "affectionately" known as tough love, at least it's tough on others. *dryly*
