What can I say? I'm a poetess. I write about what I have experienced and what I feel has meaning. In school I was taught that you can write a poem about anything, but I don't believe you can write anything in a poem. It's been said many times by many different voices that poetry is like painting. I agree wholeheartedly and believe that I can paint a picture that anyone can see, although you may not understand what exactly is going on inside.
