My name is Shandi and i live in a little town in southern Missouri. Im 26 years old, no kids except for my best 3 legged k9 friend Poodie, and never been married. I was recently engaged for a year to a man who found himself scared in an angry situation and decided to end everything. I say it happened for a reason. Two weeks later i lost my job of 6 years, which also was a blessing in disguise, because 2 weeks after that, my grandmother suffered horribly from a new chemo treatment she so desperately tried and i was needed 24/7 to care for her, but after this, it all came together and made sense to me. Not that life makes any more sense to me now, but I became more comfortable with the situation I had found myself in, instead of wondering why I was alone and unemployed. So all that brings me to the point in life where i am now, trying to learn from everything that is happening around me that i have no control of, and trying to find a new ground that i can control, or at least guide in the direction that i choose. Im generally a happy person although you wouldnt know it through my writing since most of my work comes during my lowest times. I do what i can.
