Shane

Ciao, my friends. Me name's Shane, and I live in good ol' Australia. Western Aus. that is, which is by all means a rather different culture to the rest of the nation. I'm now 19, and have been rather engrosed in reading and writing since i was 14. haha, that means its been 5 years since ive read my first novel, which i believe isnt very long at all! I love to celebrate life and the people within it. I believe that creativity is a way to illustrate this enjoyment, and would sometimes go further to say that it is a macrocosm of who we are. Saying that, new age bollocks makes me sick.

Heroes of literature?? there's a few, but not too many...Tim Winton, Virginia Woolf, Aldous Huxley, Stephen King, Ben Elton, Edgar Poe... well, thay are the favourites anyways, or at least my inspirations.

Ive written poetry since before i ever picked up a book, but recently ive been more attracted to the idea of writing short stories, and, in the long term, a novel (which i have a couple of finished drafts for). Hope you enjoy at least SOME of my work.
