My name is Heather Gent, and at 31 years of age, I've abandoned all sense of reason to follow what I believe God has called me to do - write. Though I published a book in 2009, titled "Embracing the Journey of Walking in Faith," you wont see it on any best-selling list. In fact, you wont even find it in bookstores! It's available only online. How sad is that, right? Well, I didn't let the flop of my first book get me down. I'm off to secure agency representation for a second, and much improved, manuscript. On that note, I just received my fourth rejection letter, and as I asked God why He called me into such a dreadful field, I had to laugh. Wow, rejection stinks! C'est la vie, right? So, my presence on the WritersCafe? This is me...pressing on and moving continually forward. I look forward to learning from you all!
