Some time ago, I decided to write a humorous short story to give my wife on our 25th anniversary. The words and illustrations seemed to flow from my memory and imagination, about those early days when we were struggling with our new marriage. Since that time I have had many occasions to write, both prose and poetry and have found in them a new passion in me. Though time always raises its crusty head searching ways to undermine my efforts, I have slowly been compiling a portfolio of material that, as an avid reader, I enjoy. Many of my friends have encouraged me to publish, though I am not such a believer yet. One of your established contributors just told me to publish some things here, to see if I might be as well received as she thinks, so here goes. LSS
