About Me

I was born and raised in Calcutta, India, and moved to the U.S. for my undergraduate work. Being an immigrant myself, I tend to draw from my original culture as well as the culture I have immigrated to. I am a published writer whose short story has appeared in NewYork Stories and Quality Women�s Magazine U.K. The short story �Bengal Monsoon� was nominated for Pushcart Publication by New York Stories in 2004.
