HI

I've never been very good at writing about myself...but i'll try! My name is samantha but most people call me Sam or Sammi. I live in Virginia with a loving husband who I have been with since i was in middle school. He has always been supportive of my writing though he doesn't write himself which i am thankful for. (two crazy writers under one roof would probably kill each other) I teach for a living, though not math or history. I teach taekwondo, a korean martial arts that i have been training in since i was in Kindergarden. I love to teach and i find that some of my best ideas come from being around kids on a day to day basis. I have tried to write some stories about taekwondo...but they never seem to work out. I guess i just do it too often. I have always kept a journal but it wasn't until around 6th grade that i discovered that i had a talent with it. Since then i have been writing nonstop. I Love fantasy, but i also am a sucker for good romance novel.

Things that i love:

Faeries- small ones, big ones, nasty ones I love them all
Terry Goodkind books- The man is a genius i swear
spell/grammer check-because my grammer is just atrocious
movies w/Johnny Depp-he's just cool
Long naps
Excedrin-for those bad day
Massages-Carpal tunnel's a real pain
Coca cola-we all have our drug of choice...mine is caffeine

And of course writing as much as a i can

I'm currently working on a fantasy story and will hopefully have the first chapter up soon. the prologue to the story is a rewritten version of the goblin king clip that i have on the page. thanks to all of your comments i decided to continue it. i've been editing like crazy lately and i never realized how exhausting it could be. just wanted to let you know!

Lets101 - Free Online Dating

I suppose right now i'm a little stressed. My husband and i are preparing to open up our own business (a martial arts school of course) and its been a little crazy. but then life is always crazy. the ripples in our little pond have merely grown bigger and we are trying to keep ourself from drowning in the hurricane which is of our own making. Hopefully i'll have some good news soon , we are planning to open in February and will be working our butts off.

UPDATE: our martial arts school is almost up and running!!!! it just seems like there is so much going on right now that i just haven't been able to be on here much lately. I have still been writing, i just haven't been able to post. Hopefully i'll get some more work up soon!
