I am a retired high school English teacher from New Jersey where I've lived all my life, except for 4 years when I lived in Philadelphia in the mid 1970s.

I enjoy reading the work of other writers, exchanging feedback and ideas on our work, and welcome all feedback as long as it is constructive, supportive and non abusive. I have little tolerance for people who leave mean and harsh comments on the work of others. That is not the purpose of this site, in my opinion.

Also, I will probably not accept a friend request from you unless we have had some back-and-forth and have read each other's work and exchanged positive reviews. Also, I have some trouble keeping up with read requests, so if you want me to look at one of your pieces, please send me a private message.
