Do not expect me to tell you anything more or less than what I really think about your writing. I am a professional editor and as such, I am brutally honest. On this website, people have gotten angry at me in the past for being honest, and I don't think that makes any sense. Aren't we supposed to be constructive? How does it help you if all I say is "That's great! Just great!" especially if it isn't even true?

I'm going to tell you exactly what I think of your writing so that I can help you. And I expect other people to treat me exactly the same. I don't want any half-a**ed reviews. Don't tell me that what I've written is "wonderful," tell me what sucks about it. That's what I want to hear. That's what everyone who wants to improve their writing should want to hear.
