came here with the intent of exploring once again a side of me long forgotten. i loved poetry at first sight but with the school pressure to understand famous poems and create own piece is not as fun as it should. i then thought one poetry meant one thing only and it is complex like a piece i have to solve everytime.

but no, it could have many meanings based on one's perspective, or some really needs solutions, some needs dictionary's help haha, and some might be as simple as an experience of the poet, sharing it with readers by describing the scene. i knew of this thanks to a youtube video - Writing with Andrew is the channel name. Out of all the explanations of poetry, this one was simple and most of all made sense to me and i appreciate him, his explanation and the casual hints of humor in the video.

i came here with the attempt to bring back my love for poetry. never really turned my back from it, just buried deep as time goes by without notice.

for now, i will read poems and be swayed by emotions. with that, i subscribed myself to other platforms such as commaful and hellopoetry. i might leave reviews and ratings, or simply be subscribed to your profile. i'm still figuring out this site especially the friend option, do i need to have mutual agreement or not? should i notify? should i these and that? also is there an option where all poems are just posted in one page by various of poets or just simply going one writer's profile at a time? am i just overthinking this site? haha anyways, i might share some poems of my own someday and if you've read this far, just know that your poems are beautiful and has brought or will bring peace in my messy life, and for that, thank you :)
