I studied writing in college before changing my major to philosophy, but, honestly, I gave up on the idea of being a writer. Then, as if out of nowhere, the bug bit me again.

My little brother would have turned 30th this year, if he hadn't died of a drug overdose 3 years ago. When he died, I could barely talk about it, and when I finally could talk about it, I just didn't seem to want to. Then, as I said, out of nowhere, I felt I had a story to tell. I felt like I needed to work this part of my life out, that I needed to deal with it in writing.

So, here I am. I purchased "90 Days to Your Novel" by Sarah Domet and several other how-to books (as well as fiction books that I want to emulate to serve as examples), and, now, I am setting out on the journey to deal with my sh*t.
