About Me
After High School I skipped my scholarship and opted for Community College instead. Not sure what I wanted to be I figured I would explore a bit. In 1991 I began Mortuary College and only stayed in the field for about 5 years. I began getting bloody noses from just walking in the embalming room and decided the risk of brain cancer was not worth the pay. I quit. After that I worked with Developmentally disabled adults in their homes and I learned a lot about people there. I had an opportunity to go to Business College and learn computer, analog and digital electronics so I went for it. After that I went to work for Gemfire Corporation (Deacon research) and was a Polishing and Dicing Technician for a couple of years or so. I was able to get a job at a Corporate Help Desk which was a start into better paying opportunities. I then became a Field Service Engineer with Pacific Data Group. I went back to school for a Sys Admin Diploma and then I was hired on as a Tier II Tech Support Rep for EXCITE@Home. I quickly landed an even better position at Veritas Software where shortly after I was promoted to a Desktop Engineer. I am now a partner and 1/3 owner of Floratique Flowers, Chocolate & Gift baskets going on 7 years. I was let go from Veritas after we opened the flower shop from scratch in April of 2002. I have been an entrepreneur ever since. I AM WRITING MUCH MORE NOW THAT THESE EXPERIENCES OFFER ME SOMETHING TO EXPRESS.
