About Me
Colorado native, Marissa Madrid was raised by her Grandparents in a family of traditional values which appeared to fade with the coming on of new generations. She began to write at the age of eleven as a means to express thoughts, views, and ideas that did not fit within the commonality of her family structure. As an adult she pursued her career in education; and 25 years after the birth of her journals, she began to merge her writing skills with portfolios, proposals, and presentations to acquire additional resources for children and their families. Marissa is currently applying this same proven energy toward assisting with the development of programs promoting mentoring, literature, education, and stronger ties among communities and abroad. Her vision is a collaboration of Inspiring and empowering others to succeed, multiplying the mission to continue throughout future generations.
