About MeI'm an up and coming mystery/suspense author/screenwriter poised to make my mark and provide my readers a fresh, new voice. Beware, though. My primary intention is to give my readers the heebie-jeebies, not goose bumps from describing lovers strolling through dewey meadows (growing up and through college, I vigorously read Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe novels); however, I also enjoy tickling my readers' funny bones, a la the late, great Kurt Vonnegut, another of my idols, and his dry wit.
I began writing fictional novels and screenplays roughly three years ago, when from out of the ethos came the idea for my first book, "Yellow," a pulse-pounding suspense/thriller centered on espionage. My next work, "Ghost Chaser," is a blood-curdling psychological murder mystery that will keep readers guessing until the end. I followed this with "Brenda," an epic suspense/thriller inspired by a true event. My latest work, "Methuselah," an 'apocalyptic' thriller, is in the works. Born in San Diego, California, I currently reside in Newport Beach, where I'm a project manager for a pharmaceutical company in Irvine. Prior to that, I worked as a newspaper reporter in Yuma, Arizona for three years before spending five years as lead technical writer at a military weapons testing facility, which provided the fertilizer for the creation of "Yellow." |
