I am a writer of short stories and novels mostly. Sometimes I write poetry as well, when the inspiration hits me, but it is not my main writing genre. (Ok--just to be clearer--because I've been getting Read Requests for poems: I generally do not review poetry. I just don't feel qualified enough to do so.)

I generally write fiction, mostly High Fantasy and SciFi (although I am not sure how much you'll see of that, because these genres are more evident in my novels, that I do not post here).
But I also like to write Psychology-themed short stories, which I will sometimes post here. They are generally fictional, but I try to keep the characters as real and profound as possible. I might collect those stories into a collection in the end.

About critique:
I value constructive critique. That is, critique that will help me improve the story and my writing. I promise to heed your critique, respond to it (if necessary) and change my story as I see fit. General positivity is always welcome, of course; saying what is good is just as important as--if not more important than--pointing out the problems.
If you want me to review something of yours, ask me to, and I will try to get to it when I can. I do not always have the time, so maybe you'll have to be patient. Also, I do not have time for book-reviewing right now, but if you want me to look at a specific chapter, that might be possible. And do not get offended by my reviews if they seem too critical, I am just trying to point out the things I think are problematic, along with the things I think are good. Take whatever you'd like from that--it's your work after all.
