About MeI am originally from New Orleans and I moved to the Northeast about three years ago and still had a home in New Orleans which I sold just before the storm. The storm touched my family personally in many ways, but everyone survived. It took something special from me and this world...one of the last great unique places where music, art, romance, history and magic all lived together. I love live music and I miss that scene in New Orleans. I hope to find some things in the Northeast that will help me get by.
I have written most of my life but only had the guts to share it over hte last year. I am evolving as a writer daily, I am proud of that. I am not where I want to be or need to be...but I will keep on. Music and books keep me running. I love Kerouac and the beat generation. Ferlinghetti is a great writer in my book. I love A. Miller, I love Ovid, I love Milton....if it is good and moves me I will sink into it. Dylan is a staple of my daily music life. Blues and folk from the Zydeco swamps of my home state to the cold sounds of chicago. I love it all. People seldom do what they believe in. They do what is convenient, then repent. - Dylan |
