About Me
Myself Raj Sahu from the historic town of Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. I had completed my high schooling with flying colours from Choithram School, Indore in Humanities stream and was first in order of merit in Class XII examination. Presently, I am pursuing Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Being a curious and ardent learner, debater, orator, writer and poet, I have participated in numerous panel discussions, quiz, debate and speech competitions and added feathers in my cap. Being a Bibliophile, I love to read books, especially historical narratives, fiction and poetry, of both English and Hindi literature and Classical and Victorian Era have always fascinated me. Some of the books I have completed include the Ramayana, Mahabharata, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, etc and am currently in progress with the Holy Bible. I have a keen interest in History and Public Administration and want to join Indian Civil Services, preferably as IAS Officer and offer my service to the nation. I feel abhorred when I see the dilapidated state of education in India and want to bring a stark change in this field. As a pacifist, I have a penchant towards the motto 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', i.e, 'the world is one family'. Some of my remarkable achievements are being ranked 25th in Wiz National Spell Bee, won the All India Quiz Competition 'World History Marathon' organised by Civil Services Club Foundation, Bhopal and got published in three anthologies, one of them was an international platform.
