About Me
Brilliant foliage extends from the branches of my family tree, an over grown topiary containing a hundred known and gifted writers. The sap that fills the limb in which my name is carved contains the genetic makeup of one who was meant to write, and so I do. It was in my youth, roughly at ten years of age that I began writing. Often the words that bled onto the pages of spiral-bound notebooks were entries that would be considered as mature and unsettling content. For what seemed like a lifetime I held the chains of a swing that flung me into the bright adventurous world of a child only to be pulled back into a very dark place, my mind. At the age of twenty-eight I would be diagnosed with Rapid Cycling Bipolar Disorder. My existence, one of extremes; extreme in adventure, in sorrow, in joy, in loss, and in love. I do not find fault or despair in this, but gratitude as I am afforded the ability to walk where many fear, and feel what most will not.
Welcome to my world.
