from the time i was able to read and write, my mother made sure i always had something to read and a book report to complete afterwards. while i complained and complained as a kid, i began to realize what she was doing. the wondeful world of imagination unfolded and i was able to express myself through drawings, poetry, and my own very short stories.

i look back at all of my little stories, limerics, and vivid pictures and just smile. i am so glad i was able to appreciate literature at such an early age because it's amazing to discover another person's world and to imagine yourself in it.

i went to college and majored in english literature (non-teaching) and i plan to go to grad school fall '09 to obtain a master's in publishing. i would love to work for a publishing company and work on my own creative writing on the side.
