hello I'm Polly.... usually i'd just copy and paste the "about me" section from whatever social networking site I'm currently on... but i sense i should probably write something more insightful...

Okay I'll tell you what I'm not, I am not searching for myself, I am not depressed, I am not unforgiving or bitter. I am a happy go lucky crazy haired girl known to most as Pol. I've been writing since I was about 12- or so I thought then my mum dug out some olden goldies from when I was 7. I am always disappointed in what I actually write- the ideas are so vivid in my mind, and i have the words... but i always think that the poems I'm left with only really show the tip of the iceberg in which i am trying to convey. Its disappointing. Many of my works do seem to be quite dark, but I have this theory that when your life is good you're too busy liviing it to write about it (or at least you should be!). Anyway have a read.

I AM: ... impulsive, RIDICULOUS, demanding, GUILLABLE, honest, FUNLOVING, open-minded, ACCEPTING, random, SPONTANIOUS, contrary, MESSY; a STONER, a lady, A POET, a believer, A CREATURE OF HABBIT I ADMIRE/RESPECT:... Nature, MUSIC, silence, DREAMS, individuality, CONVICTION IN ONES BELIEFS, the educated, THE SEA, diligence, CREATIVITY, courage, INDIFFERENCE, the human body, THE UNCONVENTINAL I HAVE A STRONG DISTASTE FOR: Racism, MUSHY PEAS, bigotry, LIARS, fakes, LONDON, shoes, SELFISHNESS, monotomy, PUBLIC TRANSPORT, arrogance, CRAP TEA, petrol prices, CHAIN STORES and 'electrical tin openers'.... (!) I INDULGE WITH: Danish Pastries, CIGARETTES, vanilla lattes, JACK DANIELS, marijuana, PESTO, CHORIZO AND PASTA!
