Prophet In The Making

Isaiah Spencer (aka Prophet in the Making, or Proph for short) is a spoken word artist, Ph.D. Candidate in Civil & Environmental Engineering, and a member of the Coloured Section Black Artists Collective.

A Pittsburgh native, Proph has served as host/feature artist at several open mics throughout the city of Pittsburgh, had his poetry featured in five art galleries, and co-founded a spoken word collective named The I.N.N.A.T.E Project. His writing focuses on combining his love for engineering, the black experience, and community development and he dedicates his craft to his late artist mentor, Natiq Jalil.
