"An Angel 2 Poets" by looneyeclipse

Her spirit flying high
on wings of love,

an angel among us.

Soulful splendor,
a caring whisper.

Her spiritual faith

turned to,
when souls of evil
cross her path.


I gaze
in wonderment

to be one of the lucky ones

blessed
with her friendship.


Good karma

in lives past,

my answer
to good fortune.


As the saying goes,

"In one's life, a little rain must fall"


She'd be the one holding the umbrella
to keep you dry.


Her own guardian angel,

smiling down from Heaven,
nodding in agreement


as he guides her to happiness
within her ever-growing
circle of friends ~

Too often a single rose
will go unnoticed~

soft, velvety folds,
lingering in sweet scent
giving smiles with
little sunshine
in return

amidst a busy day in Eden;
buzzing sounds
of workers dance
upon her lips
nurturing, hopes

the calling of cold winds come forth,
billows form in unknown shadows
attempting to prune her essence,
whilst tender raindrops
shed tiny tears
caressing her delicate petals;
beckoning blossoms anew

so once again
she unwraps her leaves,
refreshing life in devotion

with each heartbeat
she blooms

brighter
in poise, grace
and beauty

unbeknown to many...
she will always be
a very special rose

gifting love

to us all~

We love you for the way in your every days

Luminescent words smiling on pages
Yearning to illicit deep resounding sighs
Nature and nurture, her treasured pearls
Drawing thoughts soft as feathers to flutter
Amid the carnage within our minds
Soothing and silencing any inadequacy

Petalled paths she leads us through
Opening our eyes to see beyond
Exteriors and beings often ignored
Things that hold much beauty, yet deemed
Inept and mundane, thus overlooked
Cold hearted reality to which

She remains constantly defiant
Opening her soul completely to life
Usurping all ignorance and negativity
Left in the wake of a modern world.

There is a tremble upon morning
as she catches hesitation,
locking it beneath heartbeats
and warm embraces.

She sees sunrise in his eyes
sweeping away stars in hers,
leaving only clarity of cloudless truth
that souls can meld.

She knows safety in the scope of his reach
as little by little she dares believe;

Path of loneliness can lead to gates of bliss.
