When I write film criticism, I follow this motto of mine: film criticism is not just watching movies, but watching yourself. This can apply to all modes of writing. Poetry, novels, and lyrics all involve some reflection by the writer. He or she must mediate his or her own reactions and feelings, and make them flow on paper.

That's how I see writing. I love to read myself and others' material to see this sense of expression come through. With that, I look forward to reading yours. As for me, well I come from Campbellville, ON Canada. I enjoy golf, hockey, and my family and cats. At the end of that list, I always make time to put some ink on the page.
