About Me

My name is Dilan. I am in my early thirties and have loved books and writing since I understood what they were. I also love music and watching movies. I love to share things with people that I love, the more I want to share, the more I care.

The song below was one of my first favorite songs from when I was very young. I have continued to love it not only because it has good memories behind it but also because there just aren't enough songs about girls with brown eyes!

I hope I have given you all a glimpse into my personality and who I am, if you have questions or just want to talk about anything, please don't hesitate, I love new friends!

Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison

Hey where did we go,
Days when the rains came
Down in the hollow,
Playin' a new game,
Laughing and a running hey, hey
Skipping and a jumping
In the misty morning fog with
Our hearts a thumpin' and you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.

Whatever happened
To Tuesday and so slow
Going down the old mine
With a transistor radio
Standing in the sunlight laughing,
Hiding behind a rainbow's wall,
Slipping and sliding
All along the water fall, with you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.

Do you remember when we used to sing,
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da

So hard to find my way,
Now that I'm all on my own.
I saw you just the other day,
My how you have grown,
Cast my memory back there, Lord
Sometime I'm overcome thinking 'bout
Making love in the green grass
Behind the stadium with you
My brown eyed girl
You my brown eyed girl

Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da.

“Don’t be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality! If you can dream it, you can make it so!”
“I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece! I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach, who walk their talk!”
“It doesn’t matter where you are, you are nowhere compared to where you can go!”

Tomorrow is our Canadian Thanksgiving so I will be celebrating it with my family but I want to say that I am specially thankful for is your friendship....In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out! It then bursts into flames by an encounter with another human being! We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit....Thank you! :)

Have a fabulous evening & a magical week ahead my friend!

Morning greetings
doesn't only mean saying Good Morning
It has a silent message saying
I remember you when I wake up!

Every morning u have two choices
Continue your sleep with Dreaming
Or
Wake up and Chase your Dreams
Choice is yours!
I chose to chase my dreams! :)
Have a fabulous day my poetic friend!

♫♪♫♪ Poetry should be great & unobtrusive, a thing which enters into one's soul, and does not startle it or amaze it with itself, but with its subject! ♫♪♫♪ Always remember..........
To your enemy ~ Forgiveness
To an opponent ~ Tolerance
To a friend ~ Your heart
To a customer ~ Service
To ALL ~ Charity
To every child ~ A good example
To yourself ~ Respect

Wishing you serenity for the new week ahead my poetic friend!
