Hello.

When I joined a writing group in 2005, I discovered something that changed my life; writing is one of my true life passions. I love to write. If you have thoughts about my stuff, feel free to comment.

Aside from writing, I enjoy basically anything that requires creativity. I love to draw. I LOVE music. I can't exist without music. My musical tastes vary a lot but mostly lean toward rock and pop.

English has been my best subject in school for a long time (what a surprise) and I obviously like to write. As careers, I'm thinking editor, author (wouldn't that be nice), or an artist, most likely an illustrator since my computer skills are limited at best with complicated programs.

My favorite month is April (I love rain and that earthy after-rain smell) but my favorite season is autumn. I love the smell and color of the leaves and I love carving pumpkins for Halloween and watching the wind make leafnados (leaf tornados) in the yard.

I'm accident-prone. I've sprained an ankle by tripping over someone's foot (my fault) and sprained that same ankle by walking. Just walking, and I tripped. My coordination sucks, but I still like to do athletic-ish things like ice skating, climbing rock walls, laser tag, etc. I LOVE laser tag.

Reading books and comics is one of my favorite pasttimes. Comics are the most amazing thing ever created. Amazing artwork and (usually) good writing combined into one; life just doesn't get any better. I'm a huge superhero geek, especially with the X-Men. I've even written fanfiction (cue horror music), though obviously nothing that's posted on this site. My fanfics are mine, and solely for the purpose of fun. And I will admit, they're extremely fun and low-stress to write. They're also a surprisingly good way to help get rid of writer's block.

Movies = best things ever created by man since music and comic books. Comedies, action, you pretty much name the category and I like it. My favorite flicks are Flushed Away, X-Men: X-Men United (that's the second one), 28 Weeks Later (never saw the first one), The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Blazing Saddles (hysterical), and Jumper, just to name a few. My all-time favorite is probably Stardust. Hopefully, the new Wolverine movie coming out will make it onto that list, too. The previews for that make me completely geek out...I can't wait.

I enjoy food a lot, and I like to sleep although I never get enough. I used have a lot fo dreams and nightmares both, but I don't really dream at all anymore. I miss dreaming, even the bad ones.

To sum up a few other favorites: I like beaches, gardens, and airplanes. My favorite animals are the panda and the kiwi. My favorite colors are red and aquamarine, with blue in third place and purple in fourth. My favorite restaurants are Olive Garden, Chino Bandito (a little chinese-mexican place. I know that sounds really gross but it's GOOD), and Quaker Steak 'n Lube. I love dogs more than cats, but I have one cat who's my baby. I adore him, but he's under the delusion that kneading my legs is fun.

I'm stubborn, argumentative, creative, honest (to an extent), and compassionate, among other things. I don't know where my life is going or what I'm going to be, but I know what I want to be and I'll fight for my dreams with everything I've got.
