Silly Hillie

I'm one of those then there, done that types. Ya know, the kind that have learned from their past...(bad choice of words but just go with me here.) Writing and photography make me. I'd be nothing if those two things weren't in my life. I've been writing for years but recently I've been reading some of my oldest stuff and all I can say is, "Wow! I've matured." But at least I wrote about what went on at that point in my life and I've got it documented all over the place. So, I can look back and remember it all. Anyway, I write from the bottom of my heart. I'd like to say I write exactly what I'm thinking or feeling but there are times when I do tend to get a little metaphoric. I live by the motto, "A good writer never tells the end." Whether it's already been written or if it's still in the works. I've been working on a book for about a year and a half. I'm finally on the 5th chapter. Kinda sad if you think about but between working and school, I've done pretty darned good. I'm very selective of who I let read what I write for fear of rejection but I'm finally starting to open up and just stop caring what everyone else has to say. Everyone's going to have an opinion. Ya can't make everyone happy. But yeah, so I know most of my writing needs a lot of work and some of it can get pretty morbid but, like a said, I tend to get metephoric sometimes. I'm open to kind critism and any tips you may have. Enjoy! ☺
