Zizi

I'm a missionary kid currently living in Manchester, UK. I am a recovering self injurer. I've been almost a year without self harming. I love to read poetry. I do not write as much as I draw, but it is something I particularly enjoy. I suppose it is because my eldest sister is a spectacular writer, and I feel as though I am in her shadow. But I would like to develop my skills in writing. I love reading, and of course, drawing and writing, music is passion (Although I do not play an instrument, I love to listen to music and listen to almost any genre except country and pop), my favorite movies genre is Drama, (but anything original that shows a passion and meaning will make it to my favorites, but it is difficult to pinpoint my favorite genre.)
I am a follower of Jesus Christ, but at this point in my life, I am having difficulty giving Him control of my life. I am not a Christian. Christian is a word, Christianity is a religion. Being a Follower of Jesus takes faith, not practice or rituals. This is something I have learned from my favorite writer, Donald Miller, from his book, Blue Like Jazz. So, I guess that about sums me up a bit. Of course, there is so much more, but I do not like opening up in the About Me section. That, quite frankly, doesn't give enough information for someone to know me. So, I just like to put the basics of who I am. If anyone would like to know me better, they must be ready to deal with the reality and the complexity of my personality, as well as my fickleness.
