new year's eve fireworks a passionate midnight kiss resolution: love

i dreamed of you then before i knew who you were i waited for you

i know the shape of your lips. your eyes the color of sky. i am home.

you reach for my hand time slows down when we connect i only see you

august weather: hot dogs bark. cold beer. rain coming. the sky is blue steel.

crowd cheers. the bat cracks. peanuts, grass, sweat. aromatic. tenth inning: bonus!

i haven't seen him in years. now that he is gone there's so much to say.

autumn: the leaves fall all colors. each step crackles. crows fly back and forth.

even when i think it can't possibly be more it still isn't enough

dreaming about you the world is falling away. i wake; empty bed.
