Hey my name is Nick. I'm 20 and I like to write. Music is a huge influence in my life and my ipod has 12,000 great songs and is pretty much my prized possession. I write what I feel and that is sometimes emotional so dont be afraid to get into it. I did. If your wondering about the drug reference in some of my stuff, yes most of the poems are about true events, yes I do smoke pot, yes I do drink a little, and yes I do smoke cigarettes. Like I said, I write what I feel and lying would do nothing for my self-expression. Among society I am actually a pretty funny guy and humor is also an outlet for me. I use a large vocabulary of slang and 'dictionary words' for both. I also like to sometimes rewrite songs. Not in any attempt to top the original artist, but just to use that original rhyme scheme to relate to the song's topic from my point of view. Of course, I did join this site to be viewed, reviewed, and constructively criticized so please feel free to tell me what you honestly think. I will certainly do my best to do the same for any of you.

"The moon was so bloated it was about to tip over.
For more than an hour, Leigh-Cheri stared into the sky.
"Does the moon have a purpose?" She inquired.
The same query put to the Remington SL3 elicited this response:
Albert Camus wrote that the only serious question
is whether to kill yourself or not.
Tom Robbins wrote that the only serious question
is whether time has a beginning and an end.
Camus clearly got up on the wrong side of bed,
and Robbins must have forgotten to set the alarm.
There is only one serious question. And that is:
Who knows how to make love stay?
Answer me that and I will tell you whether or not to kill yourself.
Answer me that and I will ease your mind about the beginning and end of time,
Answer me that and I will reveal to you the purpose of the moon." "One"- La Dispute
