Cold is gripping my heart
Though the sun burns bright
Strength is leached from bones
As my blood turns to ice.
I still hear the laughter
Ringin..

A poem about life.
|
|
A poem about life and love.
|
|
Vapor of our soul,
Blown on winds of life,
Struggling to find substance,
Before the coming night.
Seeking the truth,
In a world of lies,
Watch..
|
|
Desire of my heart,
What can it be?
Your answer, you say,
'A house? A car? True love? Tell me!'
But truly, the answer,
Simple, pure and whole,
..

The halo rests,
Above my head.
Innocence belied,
By horns of red.
White feathers fall,
From leathery wings.
While tears cascade,
And joy does..
|
|
The light fades,
As night begins,
Angel and Demon,
At war within.
The Angel cries,
Darkness overwhelms,
Demonic shouts ring,
Loose the Hounds..
|
|
My journey long,
My path hard,
A weary soul,
A broken heart.
My pace is slow,
I must go on,
I see light ahead,
Soon I'll be home.

Not one of the best flowing. Still kind of a work in progress.

Something I wrote while driving down the road...
