I live in Cincinnati. My stories are mostly about characters who don't understand themselves very well. I explore the ways in which they stumble through the world, trying to fit in without ever knowing their own true shape or that of the world they're trying to join. I know that sounds pretentious but, that's really all they are -explorations of the subtle actions and thoughts and conversations and consequences of never quite understanding.

I studied philosophy years ago so I'm used to writing, just not creatively. So please be kind and I'll try to return the favor. Peace.
