M'lyssa Layne

I'm a single mom of two and full time Language Arts student at the University of North Texas. When I'm done with my undergrad, I plan on pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing. My goal is to teach on the secondary or junior college level. I love playing with words. My favorite genre is poetry. I am working on learning the craft of the short story. My book, Daybreak in My Soul, was released in July 2006. It is a collection of poetry and flash fiction.
