About MeSupply and demand determine how precious something is. I have one life to live. You do the math, I suck at it.
Middle age is swiftly approaching. I have 3 daughters, ages, 12, 14 and 22. My oldest has given me the most wonderful gift, a granddaughter. I try not to spoil her. Don't laugh, I do try. My husband is the most supportive man on the planet. Is he perfect? Not on your life but then neither am I, so it works out. Reading and writing are two of my favorite things. I love a good story, no matter the genre or medium. They take you to another world, allow you to occupy another person's shoes, if only for a little while. My most fervent desire is to write good stories that people enjoy, characters that readers fall in love with and worlds you want to visit again and again. Enthusiasm is my middle name. Just kidding--but not really. A psychiatrist might call it something else but I don't really care to discuss that. If I love something, why shouldn't I give it everything I have? I just hope there is enough of me. The scale says that won't be a problem but you be the judge. The South is my home, but I live in the 'Frozen Tundra'. Alas, the torture, the agony... Don't ask how I got here, it's tedious. Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin received about a minute and a half of fame from the movie Titanic. If you didn't hear about it, you aren't alone. As I don't ski, ice skate or enjoy being pelted with balls of snow, winter can be like a prison term. Writing is a Godsend. If you are easily offended, (i.e. every time you turn around you say, "I can't believe..." or, "Well, I never!") my book/s are not for you. I'm blunt and try to make my characters as real as possible. You may have noticed that I am also a touch on the witty side. Sarcasm isn't a coping mechanism--it's funny. Lighten up. Life's too short. |
