Leanna Mae

I am 19 years old and on a journey I never thought I would embark upon. I have dove head and heart first into whatever it is this life has to offer, and I wont be swimming back to shore any time soon. I have been spiritually blessed with some of the most amazing and beautiful souls that this go-around of the universe has to offer.

I’ve been writing since I was in second grade, and I will continue to write until the day I die. I suffer from intense and crippling anxiety, and writing is the only thing that really helps. My dream is to someday be a published author, although I can almost never actually finish a piece. None of my poems or short stories are in any of the same places, they’re scattered and messy just like my life. But I don’t feel negatively about that fact. I don’t write so others will read, or to get any sort of recognition. I write because with every word I write, a little bit of my heart and soul become healed.
