I am a new writer that has come to writing at a later stage in their life. I am a social care professional, who struggles with a number of areas with their writing. I am married and like most people have to manage work and family commitments, feeling that I lack the structure and discipline to actually write.

I have been struggling with a book idea for about eight months and hope that in the New Year, I get back to my writing.

My favourite writers in particular are: Orwell and Murakami, I also enjoy Russian literature.
