Manea Ionut

Ionuț Manea (b. 1981, Slatina, Olt county). He published in literary magazines: Helion, Vatra,
Orizont,
Literomania,
Literary Network etc. In 2020 he won the national ROMCON prize for storytelling and is present
with
texts in
the short prose anthology Literomania (2019) and in the anthologies Moștenirea Văcăreștilor
(2017,
2019). First prize at
"Mihail Sadoveanu" National Competition for prose, offered by the National Museum of
Romanian
Literature Iași (2017),
1st Prize at the Văcărești Inheritance Festival (2017) and 2nd Prize for poetry of the Văcărești
Inheritance
(2019). He is the editor-in-chief of Helion Online magazine and a member of the Pavel Dan
Cenacle.
He debuted with the volume of short prose Confesiunile Maestrului Pupusar (2020), at the Tracus
Arte Publishing House, volume with
which was a laureate of the ROMCON 2021 awards, in the short prose and short story categories.
It
appeared at the same publishing house
the volume of poetry Letter to Ping Su, included in 2021 by Cărturesti in the Debut Shelf category.
Second
volume of poetry is Dispositions of a young god, Casa de Pariuri Literare, 2022.
