About Me

COME READ WITH ME

Myspace Layouts
Myspace Layouts

Step into the world I know, travel with me, share my thoughts. Let us tell stories and enjoy what each other has to offer. You are welcome here.

I have come back to the Writer's Cafe. I was on here about 2 years ago for a very long time. I had to leave to focus my attention on completing my novel, which I have done. I am now working on my second, and third novels, but feel the need to share and read the works of all the new and upcoming writers and hopefully make a few friends.
I look forward to reading what's out there.
I have been writing for quite a few years. I have been truly serious about it for about 8 years. As I said I have one completed novel which I have been painfully trying to shop around. I have written several short stories, but I prefer the long story form.
Music gives me a lot of inspiration. I love music of all kinds and also play a little guitar. When I'm not writing I'm spending time with my family, my horses or building or playing the guitar.

I don't mind read requests, but be WARNED. I am honest, sometimes brutally honest. Writing is hard, submitting your work is harder. I have been submitting stories and my novel for a long time now. I have A LOT of rejections. If your work is good I will tell you and why. If it is bad I am likewise going to tell you. DO NOT send me a nasty messege if I didn't like your work. Trust me, if you are serious about your writing you better get a thick skin now.

And so it was
That I came to travel
Upon a road
That was thorned and narrow
Another place
Another grace
Would save me
- Neil Diamond

Thank you so much for your review of "Eternal Sunset". I realized I should have categorized it as "experimental" or something rather than a poem...but considering I already have reviews, I'll just leave it. Thanks again, glad you enjoyed it. :)

Heheh thank you for all of the lovely reviews.

Most of my poems are emotional outpourings...you just somehow seemed to be good at chosing the more trivial, fun poems =P.

Thankyou again for the lovely reviews

Thank you so much for your review, I'm very thankful for it and you're right. I believe there wasn't any flow to the piece at all, I was thinking about revising it... but again thank you! :D I'm glad that you liked it too!

Thanks for the review. Honestly, dear, I really hate that poem, but I had been told by a friend of mine to post it. There are so many other, much better, things that I've written that haven't made the site. It seems my link with the site has guttered like a unattended flame. As of late, my heart lies in my magazine.
Much Love,
Evie
