About Me

I was born in Kalamazoo and have grown up in the surrounding area. Graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Creative Writing and Asian Studies in 2005. For 2 1/2 years, I lived in California, mostly in and around San Francisco, but now I am back in my home state in Ann Arbor.

I've had a few short stories published in magazines, and currently maintain three blogs, "Life From Ann Arbor," "Adventures in Food and Word," and "Haiku A Day," all hosted on Blogger.

Hi, thanks for your friendship,

Crown Court Censored Rap-Poet (2009-2014) Using urban poetry, I fought back against 'Family Racism' towards my mixed race Daughter. Crown court then censored that poetry for five years.

I am currently half way through completing a first hand narrative collection of poems from the perspective of 'Infamous serial killers'. 
Feedback is much appreciated :)

Gee Cuz! I didn't know that Japan was so exciting. Maybe I should give it a try next. LOL. It was a really fascinating story. I enjoyed it
